Description
The miniature common unicorn is smaller than its more famous cousin. They are shy creatures seldom spotted, and often mistaken for a small cat. If one wanted to go looking for these illusive beings, the best place to start would be among the snow covered fields where they go to find food, as they are easier to spot against the white.
Always approach a miniature with caution - their horn is quite sharp, and they are easily frightened by sudden movements. This particular little fawnling was born near dark on a blistering Canadian winter's night, and so he was christened Dusk. He is quite friendly once he warms up to you, and would make an excellent companion for anyone who looks for magic in this world.
Dusk, like any of my creations, is made with a galvanized steel armature for full poseability, stuffing so he's nice and squishy, high quality faux fur, and clay head and tiny hooves. His eyes and other clay pieces have been meticulously hand painted with acrylic paints, before hand stitching him together. He is weighted to feel real when held. Many hours have gone into ensuring that he looks as realistic and cuddly as possible.
